Topshop made a dazzling return to the fashion scene with a runway show on Trafalgar Square, its first in seven years. The event, attended by Cara Delevingne, Adwoa Aboah, and London Mayor Sadiq Khan, highlighted the brand’s Autumn-Winter 2025 collection, featuring statement gowns, classic tees, and a standout aloe vera-colored faux fur coat. Delevingne shared how Topshop shaped her fashion journey, calling the relaunch a mix of nostalgia and fresh innovation.
The brand, now under majority Danish ownership, aims to reclaim its high street presence with sharp tailoring and modern utility pieces. Managing director Michelle Wilson emphasized Topshop’s commitment to staying ’London-driven,’ with designs crafted in north London. Despite challenges in the retail sector, the brand is focusing on quality and elevation, targeting the top end of the market.
While physical stores are planned, the iconic Oxford Circus flagship won’t reopen due to new occupancy. Designer Wayne Hemingway warned against relying solely on nostalgia, urging the brand to connect with younger generations. Topshop’s revival blends its legacy with contemporary appeal, aiming to inspire a new era of fashion lovers.
