The City Hall of Santo André will select artistic proposals to compose the programming of the Andreense Literary Meeting – ELA 2026, which will take place on December 4th and 5th, at the Mário Quintana House of Words, in the Center. The call for registration of interested parties will be open until October 26th. Ten projects will be selected, with a fee of R$ 5 thousand each. For this public call, proposals focused on literature are expected, such as lectures, debate circles, literary workshops, reading mediation, poetic interventions, storytelling based on books, book launches, saraus, slams, rhyme battles, among other activities of the genre. Artists, artistic groups and cultural collectives represented by a Legal Entity (PJ) may participate in the selection. Submitted proposals that meet the criteria will be analyzed by a judging committee. The result, with the ten selected projects, will be announced on November 9th.
